The Big pet store was established in 1991 and started off
with a market stall in Darlaston.It was named after Shirley
Little and called the little pet company, within 2 months of opening we already had a second stall set up in Dudley.

After a few years we left Darleston and started in our current home of Halesowen with the little pet store, followed in 2006 by now our main site  the Big Pet Store.

All through this time we have specialised in putting pets first, based on correct nutrition, housing and quality of life. And because of this we sell the highest quality food, housing and accessories along with free advice for all pet lovers.

Amongst our large selection of premium foods we carry such names as Berrimans, Royal Canin, James well beloved, Arden grange, Burns, Hills science plan for dogs and cats and Supreme, Burgess and Harrisons for small animals and birds.

We also have an Aladdins Cave of accessories from the simplest items such as feeding bowls up to more luxurious pet items such as push chairs for dogs, and everything in between. We sell small animals, birds, tropical fish, reptiles, and more importantly we stock the ideal size and quality of homes for their quality of life.These are just some of the reasons why we are known as 'The Pet Lover's Pet Store'.
